It is very durable, not porous and very dense.
2. What are appropriate uses for Granite?
Countertops, flooring & bar tops are just some areas.

Vanitytops, fireplaces and vases are just some areas.
Note, marble scratches and stains easier.
4. How do I clean marble/granite surfaces?
Always use water, no chemical compound are advised(ie windex).
Try using dishsoap. Use steel wool to remove excess stains.
5. Where do they come from?
Brazil, India, Italy and Canada.
6. How are they shipped here?
Cut into slabs, they are shipped to our factory in 20ft containers by sea.
